EBONYI ELDERS COUNCIL CONGRATULATES GOVERNOR NWIFURU
The Ebonyi State Council of Elders have congratulated the newly sworn-in Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency Rt Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, the 4th Executive Governor of Ebonyi State.
Ebonyi State Council of Elders is an umbrella body of Elder Statesmen in the state who plays advisory roles to government and also interface in making peace and resolving conflicts in the state.
In their congratulatory message released to the press, Chief Engr. Ben. Okah, The Chairman, Ebonyi State Council of Elders said that the Council are aware of the enormous tasks of governance before the governor and therefore wish to urge the new Governor to be bold and courageous in the discharge of his constitutional responsibilities.
He appealed to the Executive Governor to use his good office to introduce institutional reforms that will propel effective development in Ebonyi State.
The Elders assured the Governor of their unwavering support towards the success of his administration.
Engr. Okah called on Ebonyians at home and in the diaspora to rally round the governor and support his government to achieve his desired developmental goals for all Ebonyians.
