Just In : Ondo Assembly complex seal off by police
Men of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) have sealed off the Ondo State House of Assembly Complex, it was gathered that that the two gates of the assembly complex were occupied by armed security men of the police force.
It was gathered that the action might have been as a result of resignation letter of the Speaker Hon. Bamidele Oleyelogun which was seen online, dated 01.06.2023.
Another source disclose that the the resignation letter seen flying to online is not genuine, as no resignation letter as been received by the Clerk, however there seems to be plot by the outgoing members of the assembly to impeach the incumbent Speaker, Hon. Bamidele Oleyelogun.
It was not yet clear why the Lawmakers are planning to impeach the speaker.
