There’s plot to plunge Nigeria into Military rule – popular General Overseer cries out
The General Overseer of the Wisdom Church of Christ International in Ketu, Lagos, Prophet Bisi Olujobi, has cried out that there is a plan to plunge Nigeria into military rule.
The cleric disclosed this in a statement, saying those attempting to drag the armed forces into forming an interim government for Nigeria are only desperate for power.
Olujobi said their action planned for “either before or shortly after swearing-in” was a result of “dislike and disdain” for President-elect Bola Tinubu.
“This divine warning should not be ignored as it comes constantly and clearly. I have to alert those with spiritual ears to hear what the spirit is saying.
“The Yorubas and the ruling party should not feel totally relaxed and carried away with the present euphoria but pray,” the cleric explained.
He further said “strong cabals who represent the biblical Pharaoh” are holding “the lifeline of Nigeria” and trying to scuttle the democratic process.
The religious leader, however, appealed to politicians and supporters to avoid acts that may lead to war “as presently seen in Sudan”.
