The statement reads: “Under the Iyorchia Ayu’s administration, we watched the PDP creating strong men instead of strong institution.

Gov. Nyesom Wike and his G-5 team became more powerful than the party. The PDP under him was very weak to discipline these men for reasons I do not understand. And before Ayu, our party became weak died gradually.” “It was therefore a huge relief when he was removed through a backyard coup by the same people who got him highly compromised.”

“Today, we are still seeing Gov. Nyesom Wike; a PDP Governor hosting an APC crudely elected President, and all we could do is watch, watch and watch. What audacity!” “I challenge the PDP NWC today to immediately suspend Wike from the PDP. Enough of this weakness.”

“The NWC must rise today to put an end to all anti-party agents in our party, failing which we start planning for the final burial of the PDP.” “Wike can not continue to use the courts to hold us down while making fools of our collective sensitivities.” “Youths of our party must rise today to call a spade a spade, not a farming implement. I challenge the National Youth Leader, Prince Kadede to show the way now or forever be codenamed a disappointment.” Advertisements “I call on the NWC today to rescue our party and safe our future.”

Our heritage reporter had earlier reported that Wike who is against the presidential candidate of his party, Atiku Abubakar has been romancing with the ruling All Progressives Congress.
