Just In : Ishaku Arrested For Drug Dealing
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has arrested an ex-convict, Sunday Ishaku, in Adamawa State for drug dealing.
The agency’s Director, Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, in a statement on Sunday said Ishaku was arrested at Hayin Gada, the Imburu Numan Local Government Area of the state where he went to supply 1.650kg cannabis to an undercover operative.
Describing him as a notorious drug dealer, Babafemi said the suspect was convicted and sentenced to 15 years imprisonment in 2010 for drug offences.
He stated that Ishaku’s yellow Press Club motorcycle being used for supplying illicit drugs and N78,120 suspected to be proceeds of the illegal business were recovered from him at the point of arrest.
