You Will Not Go Down : Pastor Isaac Olutimehin
Judges 14:1-2 KJV
” And Samson went down to Timnath, and saw a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines”.
[2] And he came up, and told his father and his mother, and said, I have seen a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines: now therefore get her for me to wife.
MESSAGE
☆☆☆ The statement And Samson went down‘ shouldn’t be taken as a mere grammar.
☆☆☆ Samson actually went down. He descended from the height God had taken him.
☆☆☆ No wonder he saw a woman of the Philistines, a situation that actually marked the beginning of his fall.
☆☆☆ To return to his parents, the bible says, And he came up meaning that he ascended again to the height God had initially placed him.
☆☆☆ You will recall that his going “down to Timnath” connected him with Delilah who actually finished him.
☆☆☆ Beloved, the enemy is always struggling to bring a man down from the enviable height the Lord has placed him.
☆☆☆ Check the encounter of Elisha with king of Syria in 2 Kings 1:9 ????
“Then the king sent unto him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him: and, behold, he sat on the top of an hill. And he spake unto him, Thou man of God, the king hath said, Come down “.
☆☆☆ When a man is high up there and stays connected with God who is on high, the devil cannot come near him.
☆☆☆ The devil will now want to manipulate him to come down from that height.
☆☆☆ If he does, he becomes a prey for the devil.
☆☆☆ Beloved, the devil won’t attack you when you are ready for him. He will wait to take advantage of your carelessness.
☆☆☆ The devil is a master strategist who knows that attacking a man from his weak points will surely give him victory over his victim.
☆☆☆ Know your weak points beloved and never let down your guard. Be careful when young ladies start getting unusually too close to you when you know that’s your weak point.
☆☆☆ Finally, note that the devil doesn’t give up easily until he achieves his purpose. You too must not give up at the altar of prayers. Keep the fire burning.
PRAYER POINTS
1. Oh God my father, don’t allow me to fall for the tricks and antics of the devil and his agents in Jesus name.
2. Father, don’t allow me to dine and wine with the devil.
3. I refuse to be attracted by the delicacies from the kitchen of the devil.
4. Oh God my father, please keep and sustain me on the height where you have established me.
5. Polluters of Godly inheritance will not locate my destiny in Jesus name.
6. I shall not become a willful captive for the devil in Jesus name.
7. On the day of my divine elevation, the devil will not derail me from the pathway of righteousness in Jesus name.
8. I bury every spirit of “Delilah” targeting my life and destiny for destruction.
9. Devil, my life is not your habitation, No stopping and No waiting.
10. Father, please strengthen me and keep the fire of the Holy Ghost burning in me.
11. I am untouchable and unstoppable for the devil.
12. I will not stop until I reach my goal.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS
As you step out this day, I pray for you, you will not descend from the height God has taken you in Jesus name.
■■■ Samson left the mountain top for the valley. I decree and declare, you will not vacate your lofty height for the valley of life in Jesus name.
Once again, I decree, you will not lose your position that God has placed you in Jesus mighty name.
■■■ Samson ate from the pot of the Philistines and he paid with his life. I decree, you will not be attracted by the delicacies of the devil in Jesus name.
In the mighty name of Jesus, I decree, you will not trade your God given talents for the ephemeral things of this world.
I decree, wherever the presence of God will not go with you, may you not be found there in Jesus mighty name.
As you journey through life, I decree and declare, you will not experience a reversal of fortune in Jesus name.
You will not go down in glory and in honour in Jesus name.
You are lifted by the hand of the Lord and the everlasting Arm of Jehovah God shall sustain you in Jesus name.
Higher and higher you will keep going in the wonderland of the atmosphere of miracles.
