Aiyedatiwa : The Next Governor of Ondo State – Prince Oriade Wellington
‘The Sunshine State’ is a blessed State that boast of enormous human and natural resources. under the current Governor Rotimi Akeredolu led administration, the state has recorded lots of positive change which put Akeredolu as one &the best’ Ondo state has had as governor. The tenure of Governor Akeredolu is gradually drawing its curtains, giving room for another set of leadership to succeed His Excellency Akeredolu, to continuing his landmark leadership in the state.
Apparently, the pendulum of leadership is swinging toward Ondo South as Ondo state is well known for BALANCING OF POWER principle which had been helping the state to have an outstanding political arrangement over the years.
The question is, who is going to succeed the incumbent Governor for the continuation of his transformational legacy he is laying. The race to succeed AKETI is on and many aspirants from the southern part of Ondo State have started consultation, and prominent among them is the proactive Deputy governor of Ondo state, Hon. Lucky Ayedatiwa.
Hon. Lucky Ayedatiwa joined active politics in 2011 as a card-carrying member of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) which later merged with other political parties and became All Progressive Congress (APC). He was one of the National Delegates from Ondo State at the All Progressive Congress (APC) National Convention at Abuja in 2014. He contested for the federal House of Representative[8] for Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency in 2015 Presidential and National Assembly General Election.
He was appointed Federal Commissioner who represented Ondo State on the Board of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), 2018–2019.
He is presently the Deputy Governor of Ondo state under the leadership of Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu.
Hon.Ayedatiwa is 100 Percent Loyal to the Governor and the party as well , his positive supports and contribution to the party and the state are enough to earn him this mandate.
I believe in him as a leader that the state will continue to experience greatness is the mantle of leadership is bestowed in his hands.
This is our work, let’s come together without any discrimination to support him.
