Imo IPAC Visit Perry Opara, Commend Uzodimma over 2023 general election.
The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) Imo State Chapter under leadership of Chief Levi Eke within the week has congratulated Chief Perry Opara on his appointment as the S.A. to Governor Hope Uzodimma on Political Engineering.
It would be recalled that, Perry served as the Special Adviser on Market and Allied Matters and was reappointed to a position to strategize in the bid for Governor Uzodinma’s second term in office where many praised him for his outstanding performance in the alluded offices.
Speaking with some group of journalists in the state, the Imo state Chairman of IPAC Chief Levi Eke who led a delegation to the office of Chief Perry Opara at Ahinjoku Convention center in new Owerri, said the visit was to discuss issues bothering IPAC and ways to improve future elections in the state and also to Congratulate Opara who they described as their friend.
They further sized the opportunity to thank Governor Hope Uzodimma who according to them, gave an enabling environment for other political parties in the state to participate fully at the just concluded 2023 general election in the state.
“I came with my Colleagues to Congratulate our dear brother and friend Chief Perry Opara on his political elevation as the SA to Imo government on Political Engineering and also to discuss some issues that we encountered during the just concluded house of Assembly election here in Imo and also to offer our hands of fellowship and partnership to his office and that of government of Senator Hope Uzodimma’s ” He asserted.
In his remarks, Chief Opara promised to bring the wealth of his experience he had acquired in the traditional and political institutions into the office.
He further informed them that, the government is willing to partner and to work with them to make sure is Imo state is fully rehabilitated, reconstructed and recovered from it lost glory.
Opara, used the medium to brief them of the Genesis of Inter-Party Advisory council in Nigeria as he said to them to use their offices and support the good course of senator Hope Uzodimma even as he is working towards completing his second term in office as the constitution of the country demands.
The high point of the visit, was their declaration of their total support to Chief Perry Opara office and snapping of group pictures with him.
