YOUR END, THE BEGINNING OF GOD – Pastor Isaac Olutimehin

Luke 5:5, 5-6 KJV
“And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net”.
[6] “And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake”.
MESSAGE
☆☆☆ This is a story you are likely to have come across in the bible.
☆☆☆ Peter toiled all night but no positive results.
☆☆☆ Suddenly, Jesus stepped in and Peter encountered “a net breaking catch”.
☆☆☆ Peter was at a dead end when Jesus stepped into his case.
☆☆☆ Peter had relied on his expertise in fishing business, he believed he knew all the rules, yet he failed.
☆☆☆ The solution of Jesus to solve the problems of Peter neither agreed with his knowledge in fishing nor with his wisdom as a trained fisherman.
☆☆☆ Beloved, have you tried every known method, yet failed? Why don’t you hand over your case to God.
☆☆☆ For the bible says ????
“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you” – 1 Peter 5:7.
☆☆☆ When you carry your challenges to the cross, please drop them there and don’t bother to know how Jesus will handle them.
☆☆☆ Always remember that the ways of God are far different from that of man.
☆☆☆ For again, even God himself declares ????
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord” – Isaiah 55:8.
☆☆☆ Beloved, always remember, when you think it’s all over, that’s the time God takes over.
☆☆☆ When you are overstretched and you are at your dead end, that’s the point at which God steps in.
☆☆☆ Let’s look at about 5 points to show that the end of man is the starting point of God.
Lessons.
1. Success is not a function of experience.
☆☆☆ Peter was an experienced fisherman and yet he failed. Never rely on your experience in handling challenges, rely on God.
☆☆☆ Success is not necessarily a function of your education, it is a function of your relationship with God.
☆☆☆ You may be learned but still poor but when you submit all to God, he will make somebody out of your nobody.
☆☆☆ For the bible says ????
“Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass” – Psalm 37:5.
- When God asks you to give, it’s a divine set up for you to be blessed.
☆☆☆ Peter had nothing but he gave the little he had, his empty boat. That same boat was filled up to overflowing just because he handed over to God.
☆☆☆ Most times, when God asks you to give, it is a set up for you to be blessed.
☆☆☆ Again the bible says ????
“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again” – Luke 6:38.
☆☆☆ Beloved, this is where most people miss it.
☆☆☆ The woman of Zarephath was left with her last meal to eat and die. But she chose to live by giving that meal to the man of God. She lived in abundance all through the famine period. Read 1 Kings 17 : 8-16.
☆☆☆ Beloved, nobody is without nothing to give. Talk to God in prayers never to allow you eat your harvest as a seed.
- The ways of God will usually not agree with that of man.
☆☆☆ Peter was obedient and he got the reward.
☆☆☆ Peter knew the exact time to go out for fishing and he went at night.
☆☆☆ He knew the right areas to look out for fish and he did just that but caught nothing.
☆☆☆ Nevertheless, he obeyed divine instructions.
☆☆☆ Beloved, the step God may be asking you to take can never agree with your common sense. If it does, then that leading is not from God.
☆☆☆ Learn from the experience of Abraham ????
“And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son”:
[17] “That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies” – Genesis 22:16-17.
☆☆☆ Learn to know when God is speaking and pray for the spirit of obedience.
- Don’t ever give up.
☆☆☆ Where Peter failed was the same place he later succeeded.
☆☆☆ Beloved, don’t write off yourself. Don’t give up yet. Try one more time.
☆☆☆ Peter gave it one more trial and he thanked God he did.
☆☆☆ Woman, your marriage can still work, just invite Jesus into that marriage and all will surely end in praises.
☆☆☆ Young man, don’t send your wife packing, her womb shall surely produce children.
☆☆☆ To a particular family out there, reading this prayer message, I am being led to tell you; commit that wayward child into God’s hand and you will see the wonders of God.
☆☆☆ That same land you consider barren will surely bring forth its abundance. -
God’s choice is not by merit but by his mercy.
☆☆☆ Jesus saw 2 ships standing by the lake and he chose one.
☆☆☆ Nobody was in any of the 2 boats but Jesus’ choice was Peter’s boat.
☆☆☆ God can pick on a pauper and make him to dine and wine with the nobles.
☆☆☆ The scripture says ????
“He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s , and he hath set the world upon them” – 1 Samuel 2:8.
☆☆☆ God decides who receives his mercy and not by hard work or qualification.
☆☆☆ Again the bible says ????
“For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion”.
[16] “So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy” – Romans 9:15-16.
PRAYERS
1. Father, I have tried every known method but all has failed, step into my case Lord.
2. Father, Peter didn’t send any application to you but you singled him out for a divine touch, Lord, make me your favourite choice for unmerited and unprecedented miracles.
3. I am at the dead end Lord, mockers are waiting to mock me, please Lord, load my life with testimonies that will shock my mockers.
4. I receive grace not to miss my divine set up for heavenly blessings.
5. The battles that stopped my parents will not stop me.
6. I refuse to step into the same battles that my father fought without success.
7. I drop the load of my challenges at the feet of Christ Jesus, please take over Lord.
8. I will not carry another man’s load but I command owners of evil loads to carry their loads.
9. This is my season of great breakthroughs.
10. I am tired of helping myself, please help me Lord.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS
▪I pray for you today, may you become the favourite of God for divine mercy in Jesus name.
▪I decree and declare, you will not give up at the point of breakthrough in Jesus name.
▪On your day of divine set up for you to be blessed, I pray you will not disppoint God in Jesus name.
▪Receive grace to surrender all to God and be blessed.
▪Where you have failed in the past, I prophesy, there you will succeed in Jesus name.
▪God shall turn your hitherto barren land to a Goshen in Jesus name.
▪This season, God shall single you out for his mercy and favour.
▪What God cannot do, doesn’t exist: I prophesy, your case is already a testimony.
▪That business shall rise and blossom again in Jesus name.
▪I see the tide turning in your favour.
