Just In : INEC declares MBAIKE election inconclusive, says earlier announced Imo Presidential election result affected
Mbaitoli-Ikeduru Federal Constituency Election has been declared inconclusive due to inability of INEC to conduct Elections in 19 polling units of Amaike Mbieri Ward and 33 other polling units in 12 wards of the federal Constituency.
After a strong worded petition submitted by the SDP Agent, Mr. Benjamin Anochie whose candidate is from Amaike Mbieri Ward, INEC has declared the Mbaike Election inconclusive, promising that a date will be fixed with 48hours for Elections to be conducted in the affected polling units.
It is worthy to note that both presidential, Senatorial and house of Reps Elections did not hold in these affected areas as INEC noted disappearance of sensitive electoral materials and wrong BIVAS password/codes.
