Just In : DPO Slumps, Dies In Office
The Divisional Police Officer of Jigawa State’s Jahun Local Government Area, SP Abubakar Musa died in his office after collapsing.
DSP. Lawan Shiisu Adamu, the spokesman for the State Police Command, confirmed the death in a statement on Saturday.
He stated that the incident occurred on Friday night around 9:00 p.m. in the DPO’s Jahun Division office following a lengthy illness.
According to him, “SP. Abubakar Musa died yesterday around 9:00pm while closing from his official duty.”
He stated that the deceased was taken to Jahun General Hospital and Rashid Shekoni General Hospital before being transferred to Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
