You Fought Attempt to Breach Rotational agreement and Enjoyed From it, Hence we Must Hold to it – Abiye to BTO
See Details of BTO position on Rotational agreement before 2019 below…..
The NNPP House of representatives candidate for the Akoko North East and West Federal constituency Hon. Abiye Ademoyegun has called to notify the entire public and particularly the good people of Akoko North East and West on the position of the current house of representatives member Hon olubunmi Tunji Ojo before his emergence as a rep member, that he has always stand against every attempt to breach the rotational agreement which eventually worked for him to win party tickets in 2011 and also paved way for him in the 2019 general election.
Bunmi Tunji Ojo has been known for years Working against every attempt to breach the rotational agreement between the two local governments on who represents in the federal House of representatives every four years, he has been a front fighter in this position over the years.
This was contained in document signed and released to our heritage reporter by Hon Abiye Ademoyegun on the details and facts of how Bunmi Tunji Ojo foughted against every attempt to breach the rotational agreement and how different people have enjoyed the smoothy rotation of power between the two local governments since 1999 including which Reps Tunji Ojo himself benefited from and this have helped in projecting relative peace among the two local governments because the understanding and political agreement are always upholded during the political season
Below documents describes the true pictures of BTO position on Rotational agreement, according to source, the whole story came up in 2011 when BTO failed the PDP primary during Hon Gbenga Otolorin second term bid. He decamped to ACN to run but Hon Sinmi Akindele from Akunu wanted to use her influence to get the ticket then, BTO mobilised the party leaders to oshogbo to meet the then Governor Aregbesola to preside on it, his arguments was based on the rotational agreement that Akoko north east was the one on representing and that the leaders of the party could consider dis rotational agreement, this request was publicly made by Bunmi Tunji Ojo.
He was offered money which he rejected and insisted on the rotational agreement, The likes of Bar. Tunji Abayomi accompanied him to Osun State then And at the end he was given the ticket on d rotational bases.
Though he lost at the general election unfortunately for him to Hon Gani Dauda which is also from the same local government
The paragraph 4,5 and 6 of this document are verifiable facts that reps BTO appends to documents condemning all Attempt to breach the rotational agreement between the two local government before his emergence in 2019, and now ,he his seeking to represent for second term in office as against the rotational agreement between the two local governments of the federal constituency which is against his position before coming to office, sincerely, opting out of this arrangement is not the best at the present moment, going by the laid down rotation would have been the best choice.
During that time, a meeting was jointly held by stakeholders of the two local governments, elders from all political wards in the federal constituency which affirmed Bunmi Tunji Ojo position on Rotational agreement, documents was signed to maintain the status on Rotational agreement of the house of representatives seat every Four years between the two local governments, some of the signatories includes: Banji Shaba, Adebayo Olatunbosun,Dele Akanbi, David Bello, momodu Ishola, Ogunleye AS,Omoware ZA and host of others leaders of the party all agreed on this subject and the state and national chairman of the party, some governors were copied.
Many other competent Reps members who performed wonderfully well better than BTO have all stayed to this rotational agreement, serving for four years one term and that’s the position, we are not saying BTO has not performed, we are not condemning anyone but emphasizing on the position of the rotational movement must be well recognised in all attempt, he did well just like the other several that has represented us, hence, we must all say NO to second term and hold firmly to the rotational agreement.
The fact remains that Bunmi Tunji Ojo enjoyed smooth ride to house of representatives based on the facts that, the working rotational agreement favoured him, what is good for the geese is also good for gander and now it’s the turn of Indigene of Akoko North East to occupy the seat in compliance with the rotational agreement.
Hence I want to emphasize on the need for all of us and the good people of Akoko North East and West Federal constituency and most importantly, Hon Bunmi Tunji Ojo to play by the rules of the game and agreement laid down, this agreement has helped us well, prevented us and all our communities from unnecessary violence and we cannot jettison it for whatsoever reasons.
We must collectively join hands together with BTO initial position to say NO to second term, we have numbers of competent individual within the other jurisdiction in our Constituency who can as well performed beyond doubts, Abiye Said.
