New year 2023 : Foremost Ivo Group Empowers women’s Across 17 Villages
The leadership of Ishiagu Community Development Union ICDU topped the year in tremendous display of humanitarian excellence, in activating the administration paramount objective of overseeing welfare of the indigent women, men and Children of Umu-isagu okpuite and to voluntarily lift the vile in the worthy life of her Community members accentuated an acceleration of massive projects, priorities of community needs, students bursaries, students scholarships, establishment and maintenance of basic infrastructures and amenities, youths empowerments, Security and task forced manpower el cetera.
The details of this programme was released to our heritage reporter on Sunday 1st January of 2023 by the spokesperson of the group, comrade Egu Richard.
According to him, Against all odds, the organisation of ICDU under the rulership of Hon. Ajah David(Jawara) has never slumped or slumber in her mapped out agenda’s to ensuring a rapid growth and experiencing Community developments since inception of the present leadership, all hands has been on desk to unlocking the next stage of achievements for the interest of Ishiaguans.
Thus, many received items of clothing and cash gifting in joy filled moment as distributed by the ICDU President, Hon. Ajah David and other members of the executive as the event was occasioned with singing, dancing and jubilation.
In his magnanimity, the ICDU President, remarkably extolled the beneficiaries to keep faith in trusting and supporting the government of the day as a panaceas to recognition and continuing growth of her community, “reminding all no community that fight the government expects equal treatment”.
At the height of this rare humanitarian exercise initiated by ICDU leadership, it is worth noting that Ishiagu Community Development Union ICDU is not a political party affiliated rather it’s policy execution is oversees by the government of the day as no “union” supercede the authority of her state government thus, all political actors and philanthropists of ishiagu Okpuite who support the community development and welfare of the indigent few shall receive a reciprocated legitimacy from umu Ivo, Umu Echiele and Umu-isagu generally.
