Just In : Pastor Gbenga Akinbiyi Recieves “Icon Of Spiritual Exemplar” Award, Appreciates Organisers For Honouring God In Him.
The General Overseer and the senior pastor of Promisedland Prophetic Ministries, Pastor Gbenga Akinbiyi has received the “Icon of spiritual exemplar award.
The award was conferred on him on Saturday 26th of November, 2022, by eminent sons and daughters of Okeigbo as part of activities to mark this year 2022 Okeigbo day.
Presenting the award to the recipient, Gbenga Akinbiyi, Mr. Abiodun Samuel Agbaraojo, described the Okeigbo born cleric as a glee of spirituality, holiness and benevolence. He noted that the recipient was selected on merit, based on his exemplary leadership style, his generousity, in Christian faith and his contributions to humanity.
Appreciating the Okeigbo day committee, Agbaraojo expresses delight on the due diligence put in place in the selection of the awardees.
“Let’s me appreciate this year 2022 Okeigbo Day planning committee for organising this kind of elaborate ceremony.
“Also admonishing taking time in the selection of the awardees based on their track records and contributions to the society”, he noted.
Receiving the award on behalf of Pastor Akinbiyi, Elder Charles Ayileka, accompanied by Mr. Yomi Okoro from Brazil, appreciated the 2022 Okeigbo day planning committee for honouring the man of God, who was far away on ministerial assignment in Abuja, for his service to God and humanity.
“I want to thank the planning committee for this year Okeigbo day celebration for discovering such quality in my father in the Lord, Pastor Gbenga Akinbiyi.
“This award means a lot. It will add more value to the life of the cleric. It shows that people are seeing what God is using him to do in our society.
“His absence here today was due to the work of the ministry as mandated by God, all the way in Abuja, else he would have been here, but here in spirit.
Other important dignitaries that graced the occassion includes, Ondo state Governor, represented by Mr. Wale Akinterinwa, Ondo state Commissioner for Finance, Hon. Festus Adefiranye, Member Ondo state House of Assembly, HRM Oba (Dr.) Lawrence Babajide, HRM Oba Akinola Akinrera, the Olubosin of Ifetedo, Otunba Agboola Samson Abiodun, former Chairman of Okeigbo day planning Committee, Engr. Matthew Oyerinmade, Chief Fapohunda, Prof. Sola Olapade, Chief Barr. Adeoye Olatunji, Princess Funmi Ogunlusi, Engr. Omotehinse Akingbade and others were all in attendance
