Group set to hold Owerri Mega Health Fair in Dec. 3rd.
A Health group known as GEDABLOSH GROUPS, within the week has announced the organization readiness to host an Owerri Mega Health Fair for the health benefits of Imo resident.
This was disclosed by the Convener of the event, Dr. Gerald Oguzie, during the Press conference held at the Grand Amari Hotels, along Graceland estate Irete, Owerri west Imo state.
According to him, The massive brain drain and poor state of healthcare ecosystem, practicing doctors and other health workers have reduced remarkably at major health institutions around the country and imo state is not in exemption, he added.
He further noted, how he observed a significant increase in the morbidity and mortality of Imo people. Patients literally pouring into Federal Medical Center(FMC) daily with higher morbidity and mortality mostly from resorting to alternatives.
Oguzie, narrated the Recent trending story of a 6-month old baby who had his right upperlimb amputated by his father.
However, he noted that, the Health Seeking Behavior of the people has depreciated from bad to worse guided by ignorance, poverty, myths and beliefs. ” There is a call to action because everyone is involved”
By this Publication, the Gedablosh Healthcare and Partners is inviting the Imo People to the OWERRI MEGA HEALTH FAIR On the 3rd of December 2022, at Landmark Event Center, New Owerri.
