Just In : Local Government Chiarman Renamed Street After Akeredolu late Mother
In a bid to preserve her memories and appreciate an indelible life devoted to the service of God and Humanity, the Executive Chairman, Ese-Odo Local Government, Hon. (Mrs) Folawe Sipasi-Aluko has announced that the erstwhile Araromi Street in Igbotu has been renamed after Lady Evangelist Bosede Akeredolu.
It’s no longer news that Lady Evangelist Grace Bosede Akeredolu JP, the mother of Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON has gone to the great beyond, leaving behind legacies of hard work, service to humanity and faithfulness to her Creator.
Mama during her lifetime derived great pleasure in touching lives and putting smiles on faces.
Hon. (Mrs) Folawe Sipasi-Aluko in a statement she personally signed informed that the step was taken to immortalize Late Lady Evang. Bosede Akeredolu, an illustrious daughter of Apoi Land and a pillar of strength.
It would be recalled that the road construction of the Street was facilitated and financed by the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC) under the Chairmanship and Leadership of Elder Sam Oluwadamilohun Erejuwa led Board.
Lady Evang. Bosede Akeredolu who peacefully transited to glory in her sleep at the early hours of Thursday September 15, 2022 at a ripe age of 90 will be committed to mother earth on 12th November, 2022.
Her final burial according to the arrangement released by the family will take place between Thursday 10th and Saturday 12th November, 2022.
The event will commence with Service of Songs at St. Matthias Anglican Church, Orogun, Ibadan and also at Jacob & Grace Chapel of the All Saints Church, Iddo Eruwa Road, Ibadan at 4pm.
Also on Friday, November 11, 2022, Commendation Service at St. Anne’s Anglican Church, Molete, Ibadan, by 9am while Service of Songs will also hold at St Andrew’s Cathedral, Imola Street, Owo. Wake Keep will take place at Jacob & Grace Garden, Opposite Imade College, Oke-Ogun in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The burial service will hold on Saturday, at St Andrew’s Cathedral, Imola Street, Owo, by 10am, while Internment follows immediately after the burial service.
Thereafter, reception will be held at Midas Hotel and Resort, Ikare Road, Owo.
OSOPADEC Chairman, Sam Erejuwa on behalf of the Board, Management and Staff pray Mama will continue to rejoice with the Heavenly saints and find rest in the bosom of her Creator.
