Just In : Omeogo inaugurates Campaign Structure, promises effective representation
The 2023 APC Candidate for Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency Seat, Hon High Chief Canice Moore Nwachukwu Omeogo Ogbaturuenyi na Orlu, had over the weekend, officially inaugurated his Campaign Structure which comprised of his Director-General, LGA Coordinators, Ward Coordinators and the Media Team who would help him coordinate his political activities during the campaigns to add to his electoral victory.
The inauguration witnessed high profile personalities across the state and beyond who included Ikeduru/Mbaitoli House of Representatives Candidate, Engr. Amarachi Amadi, APC Candidate for Orlu House of Assembly, Barrister Ikenna Ihezuo, Hon. Chigozie Nwanire, House of Assembly member for Oru East, as well as APC candidate for Oru East, Hon. Uche Agabiga, house of Assembly Candidate for Orsu, Chief Dona Nwaogu, a reputable leader from Nwangele, Hon. Wilson Nwafor, Special Adviser to Imo State Government, Hon. Odionymma Agubie, Imo State APC Woman Leader, Hon. Mrs. Ifeoma Ndukwu, APC LGA Chairmen from Orlu, Orsu and Oru East, Local Government Development Center Coordinators, CampHope members.
Omeogo while addressing the people at the Orlu LGA council Headquarters where the flag off/inauguration took place last Saturday, “welcomed all to this historic occasion. It is historic because the people of this constituency have once again elected me so that they can take their destinies in their own hands. By divine arrangement and design, a new representative will be commissioned by this great constituency to occupy her seat in the Federal House of Representatives. By the Grace of God, the 2023 general elections will be about the people, about capacity, about competence, grassroots appeal, credibility and trust. To the Glory of God, I am an embodiment of these virtues”.
He continued, “as a man of the people, I have seen firsthand the pains and challenges of my people. Past leaders have done their part and it is time to raise the bar to greater heights. This is my motivation. Having been prevailed upon to leave my comfort zone in order to provide comfort for my people, I have taken up the gauntlet. For the love of my people – Ndi Orlu, Ndi Orsu na Ndi Oru East – I have committed myself to do the hard work and ensure that the voice of this constituency in the National Assembly does not go dim. Ndi be’anyi are not known to take the back seat. That is why we must not go for anyone that will drop the ball and lower the standards. We must go for the best among us and with all sense of humility, Omeogo is, without a doubt, the man for the job”.
In his acceptance speech, the Director- General of Omeogo Campaign Organization, Dr. Cyril Okafor, popularly called CYMPOK, affirmed that Omeogo is a man of the people who has all it takes to represent Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency.
He further added that Omeogo’s going to Nigeria Green Chamber will be for the continuation of his human capital development and good deeds to people.
Okafor charged the Coordinators to work with all sincerity to deliver not just Omeogo, but other APC candidates.
