UK-based Nigerian man faces deportation after wife reports him, empties his bank account
A Nigerian man living in the UK is reportedly facing deportation after his wife reported him to the police and allegedly wiped out all the money from his bank account, including his salary.
The situation came to light through a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) by a social media user who sought help on the man’s behalf.
According to the post, the man has been in police custody for months following his wife’s report, though the exact reason for his arrest remains unclear.
In addition to turning him over to authorities, the wife is said to have drained his account, leaving him financially stranded as he now faces deportation.
The user who shared the story pleaded for legal assistance, tagging a popular influencer for help. The post read:
