Trump revokes Secret Service protection for Hunter, Ashley Biden
United States President Donald Trump announced on Monday that he had revoked Secret Service protection for Hunter Biden and Ashley Biden, the children of Joe Biden, Reuters reported.
Trump made the declaration through a post on Truth Social, stating that Hunter Biden, who had received Secret Service protection for an extended period, would no longer be protected by agents.
He also confirmed that Ashley Biden, who had 13 Secret Service agents assigned to her, would be removed from the protection list.
“Hunter Biden has had Secret Service protection for an extended period of time, all paid for by the United States Taxpayer.
“Please be advised that, effective immediately, Hunter Biden will no longer receive Secret Service protection. Likewise, Ashley Biden who has 13 agents will be taken off the list,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social.
The announcement followed a question from a reporter earlier in the day about Hunter Biden’s security detail. Trump responded that he was not previously aware of it but would investigate the matter further.
