OGUNWUMIJU LIGHTS UP AJAYE COMMUNITY AS PART OF HIS UNPRECEDENTED CONSTITUENCY PROJECT.

The people of Ajaye Community, Ward 1 in Ondo West were full of gratitude as Otunba Moyinolorun Ogunwumiju, the Parliamentary Secretary of the Ondo State House of Assembly and Member representing Ondo West Constituency 1, provided solar streetlights to illuminate the community. The kind gesture was met with appreciation from residents and community leaders, who described it as a major boost to security and development in the area.
Dr. Jibayo Adeyeye, in complementing Ogunwumiju’s efforts, also donated a cash gift to support the community, further demonstrating his commitment to grassroots development.
Speaking on behalf of the community, Pastor Joseph Osuntimehin, Chairman of Ajaye Community, expressed his excitement at the rapid response from Otunba Ogunwumiju. “We are surprised by the quick intervention of Hon. Ogunwumiju in providing these solar lights. There are seven roads in Ajaye, and we have strategically placed the lights across every part of the community,” he stated.
The event was graced by notable figures, including Hon. Barr. Adewale Adelakun, former Chairman of Ondo West Local Government and a prominent APC leader in Ward 1, who commended Ogunwumiju for his unrelenting dedication to community progress.
Also present was Comrade Lucas Famakinwa, President of Ekimogun Youth Connect (EYC), who appreciated the lawmaker’s remarkable efforts in the community. In the same vein, Comrade Kayode Folajogun, immediate past President of Ondo Ekimogun Youth Congress (OEYC), who is also a resident of Ajaye community acknowledged Ogunwumiju’s consistent contributions to the development of Ondo West Constituency 1.
Mr. Kunle Ayodeji (Kashoki), praised Ogunwumiju for his numerous good deeds, particularly in supporting youth development and promoting community growth.
In his address, Otunba Moyinolorun Ogunwumiju reassured the people of his commitment to community development. “I will continue to work closely with the people to ensure we bring quality development to our communities. Ajaye and every other part of Ondo West Constituency 1 deserve the best, and I remain committed to this cause,” he affirmed.
The event ended on a high note, with residents expressing their joy and appreciation for the transformative impact of Ogunwumiju’s intervention.
