A disc jockey (DJ) identified as Victor Dickson was killed over the weekend on the dance floor of a hotel in the Abule Ado area of Lagos State, while another man was beaten to death in the Victoria Island area of the state.

Hundeyin said, *”At about 21:30 hours on 08/03/2025, a group of young men stormed a hotel along Community Road, Abule Ado, shot the DJ on stage, and inflicted machete cuts on him.
Police operatives responded to the scene and pursued the assailants as they fled into FESTAC.”*
He continued, *”One of the assailants, Christian Chukwudi, also known as Marshal General, aged 35, a notorious robber and cultist who has been terrorising the area, was arrested with the help of local vigilante members in FESTAC while attempting to escape.
A locally-made short gun with one live cartridge was recovered from him, while another live cartridge was found at the murder scene.”*
According to Hundeyin, “Preliminary investigations revealed that the arrested suspect is a leading member of a cult group.”
