Mudashiru Obasa, the ousted Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, has announced that he is back as the leader of the parliament.

Obasa made this statement on Thursday after returning to the Assembly with police and State Security Service officers for the first time since he was removed from office on January 13.
“I’ve resumed, and I remain the Speaker of the Assembly,” Obasa declared.
