YAPJEN President Visits Country Director, Global Peace Foundation, Set for collaboration of YAPJEN and GPF.
The President, Youth Advocates For Peace Justice and Empowerment Network (YAPJEN), Amb. Timothy Nwachukwu (LLB) paid an Advocacy visit to the Country Director, Global Peace Foundation Nigeria, Rev. John Joseph Hayab in Abuja to explore areas of common Interest for the collaboration of the two organisations.
YAPJEN is a youth based impact making advocacy organization that has peace advocacy, Human Right, good Governance and youth empowerment as some of its focal areas has made achieve uncommon success which include attracting foreigners from Georgia in Europe and South Africa for peace building and youth empowerment in Abuja Nigeria, as well as hosting international SDG Virtual conference with speakers from across the globe.
Amb Timothy Nwachukwu (LLB) eulogised the Country Director, GPF for the tirelessly efforts of the organization in promoting Peace and raising awareness against electoral violence in Nigeria.
Rev. John Joseph Hayab is the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Kaduna State Chapter and also the Acting Chairman of the Association in the 19 Northern States and Federal Capital Territory.
He has served as resident Pastor of many Baptist Churches in northern Nigeria as well as the Kaduna State Coordinator of Faith Actors Dialogue Forum (FADF) and has served as a Special Adviser on Christian Matters to two former Governors of Kaduna State and was a member of the Kaduna State Inter-Religious Harmony Committee for about 15 years.
The Duo of Rev. John Joseph Hayab and Amb Timothy Nwachukwu LLB agreed on the need for collaboration of the two organisations and restated their commitment to Partner in several advocacy causes for the overall good of the Nation.
