“I Was Drunnk When I Said, I Wont Mind If My Husband Has A Sidechick Outside Our Marriage”- Actress Kudi Alagbo Speak About She Being A Sidechick To Married Men
Well-known Yoruba Nollywood actress Kudirat Ogunro, better known by her stage as Kudi Alagbo, has defended a contentious former statement in which she said she wouldn’t mind if her husband had a lover outside, provided he looked after her.
In a recent interview with Oyinmomo TV, the actress jokingly admitted that she was drunk when she made that statement and hinted that her past experiences influenced her views on relationships. “I was drunk when I said I don’t mind if my husband has a girlfriend outside our marriage,” Kudi Alagbo said
In her statement, she said, “Somebody advised me to learn hairdressing rather than working for anybody, and after I gave birth to my child, I decided to learn hairstyling because it is something that has interested me since I was young.
I went to Iyabo Ojo’s salon, and I became a hairstylist there. Iyabo Ojo used to pay me 2,500 naira when I was working as a hairdresser at her salon. When I noticed that she was an actress, I decided to join her film making group, and that was how I became an actress.”
“I’m a single mother, but I’m not searching for a man now because I’m not ready to get married,” she stated.
She further explained that everything has its own time, and she does not feel pressured to take the next step into marriage.
“Yes, I have a man in my life, but I’m not ready to proceed to marriage yet because everything has its own time, and it’s not time for me yet,” she said
