Primate Ayodele reveals candidate that’ll defeat Tinubu
According to a report by Daily Post, Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has stressed the need for Nigeria’s opposition parties to unite if they hope to challenge President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
He warned that without a strong coalition, removing the incumbent from power would be nearly impossible.
Primate Ayodele specifically called on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP), and New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) to work together and present a single formidable candidate.
He emphasized that failure to do so would weaken their chances of victory.
According to him, if these opposition parties do not unite behind one solid and resilient candidate, they will not be able to defeat Tinubu.
He also cautioned the PDP against selecting former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as its candidate, predicting that such a decision could be disastrous for the party.
He warned that if the PDP fields Atiku, they will lose the election, adding that if the party chooses to go solo, it could end up in financial trouble.
He further argued that none of the party’s current governors have the political strength to win the presidency.
Beyond opposition politics, Primate Ayodele also pointed out possible internal threats to Tinubu’s second-term ambition.
He claimed that northern political leaders would continue to conspire against the president, making his re-election bid challenging.
He predicted that they would go to great lengths to organize a political coup aimed at unseating him.
As Nigeria moves toward the 2027 elections, these warnings highlight the high stakes involved and the importance of strategic alliances and careful candidate selection for both the opposition and the ruling party.
