Hon. Wunmi Isaac’s Integrity Remains Unquestionable – Governor’s aide
REBUTTAL TO THE ALLEGATIONS AGAINST THE HON. COMMISSIONER FOR FINANCE
Our attention has been drawn to a recent publication by a group of Ilaje Youths making unfounded allegations against the Hon. Commissioner for Finance, Wunmi Isaac .
As the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Student Affairs, I find it necessary to address these baseless claims, set the record straight, and reaffirm our unwavering support for her exemplary service to Ondo State.
First and foremost, Hon. Wunmi Isaac is a seasoned professional with an outstanding track record in public service. Her competence, integrity, and commitment to sound financial management have been instrumental in ensuring fiscal responsibility within the state. Since her appointment, she has worked tirelessly to implement policies that enhance transparency, block financial leakages, and promote economic growth in line with Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s development agenda.
It is important to emphasize that Governor Aiyedatiwa remains firmly in charge of his administration. He is leading with vision, wisdom, and an unwavering dedication to the progress of Ondo State. As a focused and responsible leader, he has demonstrated a commitment to accountability, due process, and financial prudence. The Commissioner for Finance, as part of his trusted team, is carrying out her duties in alignment with his policies and directives.
The attempt to portray Hon. Wunmi Isaac as an obstacle to progress is a deliberate misrepresentation of facts. As a key figure in the economic team of Ondo State, she has remained steadfast in ensuring that state resources are utilized judiciously and that government projects receive the necessary financial backing in a structured and transparent manner. Her silence in the face of these allegations should not be mistaken for weakness, but rather a reflection of her deep focus on delivering results rather than engaging in distractions.
It is regrettable that certain individuals are attempting to incite division by spreading misinformation. Ondo State cannot afford unnecessary political distractions at a time when Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration is focused on consolidating progress and delivering good governance to the people. The government remains committed to the welfare of all citizens and will not be swayed by baseless accusations designed to create discord.
We, therefore, call on well-meaning stakeholders and the general public to disregard these unfounded allegations. Hon. Wunmi Isaac has been and remains a dedicated public servant, working in synergy with Mr. Governor to ensure the continued progress of Ondo State.
As a concerned stakeholder of Owo/Ose Federal Constituency, I am proud to stand in solidarity with Hon. Wunmi Isaac. Her dedication, competence, and integrity are unquestionable, and we will continue to support her as she contributes to the economic transformation of our state.
In conclusion, we urge the public to remain focused on the bigger picture; ensuring the continued success of this administration. Governor Aiyedatiwa is leading with a clear vision, and we must all rally behind him to achieve the collective development goals of Ondo State.
