Gunmen Abduct Man, Wife, And Brother In Kwara
SaharaReporters learned that the trio was abducted from Moshood’s residence at around 10 pm on Saturday.
Gunmen have kidnapped Alhaji Moshood, his wife, and his sibling, Alhaji Abdulkazeem Owoyale, at Owoyale Agbamu in the Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
SaharaReporters learned that the trio was abducted from Moshood’s residence at around 10 pm on Saturday.
The state police command has confirmed the incident, saying it is “aware of an unfortunate kidnap incident that occurred on 1st February, 2025 at about 2200hours”.
“It was reported that unknown armed men stormed Owoyale village along Oro-Agbamu Road and forcefully whisked 3 persons to an unknown location. Alh Moshood and Alh Abdulkazeem Owoyale (siblings), and the wife to Alh Moshood,” the police command said.
“The Police alongside the vigilante/hunter groups has swung into action; combing the forest to rescue the 3 victims unhurt and apprehend the criminals behind this act.
“Further developments on the outcome will be communicated as it progresses.”
