2027: Emerging Leaders/Nigerian Youths set to broker agreement with Tinubu over choice of VP
The Leadership of the Emerging Leaders Forum of Nigeria, ELFON in conjunction with Coalition of All Ethnic Youth Groups of Nigeria have forwarded a letter to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on their readiness to support him for a second term in 2027 if he will:
1. accept their choice for his running mate in 2027.
2. accept few proposals that will greatly advance Youth development and Security in Nigeria.
Speaking to Journalists after the meeting held by the 36 state delegates of All ethnic youth Groups and ELFON leadership, Amb. Godstime Chukwubuikem Samuel noted that the Emerging Leaders are poised to aiding Nigeria Leaders succeed fir the good of the Nation hence their resolve to meet with President Tinubu to laybare critical issues and possible solutions for Nigeria’s good.
“Just like in 2023, we supported Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and contained in these envelops (as he lifted 5 heavy envelops) are the result duplicates from Wards across the 774 local government areas where our members served as vote canvassers. We want Mr.President to go through and see where we genuinely won and where we lost gallantry. I think we have learnt over the years and it is time to make amends for better results in 2027 if Mr.President oblige us the opportunity to meet with him for 1 hour”, Godstime stated.
When asked to mention who Nigeria Youth would suggest to President Tinubu as his running mate for 2027 elections, Godstime stated that the suggestion will be made to the President directly, not to Journalists for now.
“There are two credible Nigerians that have remained Youth friendly over the years with distinct leadership qualities that President Tinubu needs as a back up to win the 2027 Elections. We have energized our structures to begin a movement that will determine 40% of the outcome of the next general election”, Godstime noted.
