Brazil Will Reciprocate If Trump Imposes Taxes and Tarrifs
Brazil has resolutely decided to reciprocate if the United States President Donald Trump imposes tarrifs and taxes. Trump has threatened to impose more tarrifs on products imported into his country.
The Brazilian president, Luiz Inacio Da Silva, responded that Brazil would tax goods into the United States if Trump carries on with his threat. He added that he would respect the US and he expects Trump to respect Brazil as well.
“It’s very simple: if he taxes Brazilian products, Brazil will reciprocate in taxing products that are exported from the United States… I want to respect the United States and for Trump to respect Brazil. That’s all,” the 79-year-old president told a press conference.
