Medical doctor feared dead in Lagos road accident

Bakare Oluwarotimi, a senior medical officer with the Lagos State Health Service Commission, reportedly died in a road accident on Sunday morning.

An eyewitness said the accident occurred at Ilasa, inwards Cele bus stop area, on the Apapa-Oshodi expressway.
The eyewitness said the medical practitioner passed away before first responders got to the scene.
“He was left unattended for too long after the accident until the fire rescue team arrived. By then, he had already been pronounced dead,” the witness said.
Efforts are reportedly under way to contact his family through his office.
