The Federal lawmaker representing Owo/Ose Federal constituency, Otunba Timehin Adelegbe has congratulated the newly elected Chairmen, Vice Chairmen and Councillors in Owo and Ose local government areas, while commending ODIEC and the security agencies for a very smooth and peaceful conduct of the election and Governor Aiyedatiwa’s exemplary Leadership style
In a statement issued and signed by the Spokesperson to the Federal lawmaker, Hon. Olaniyi Eni-Olotu, the federal lawmaker hailed the people of Owo and Ose LGAs for coming out in large number to exercise their franchise in a very peaceful and orderly manner.
He advised all the declared winners of the election to see their victory as a call to service in order to ensure that the good people of Owo and Ose enjoy the dividends of democracy in line with their promises during the electioneering campaign.
Otunba Adelegbe equally commends the Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s leadership style,especially for creating an enabling environment for a hitch-free council polls in Ondo State, being a peace-loving leader, The Governor has displayed sense of responsibility in ensuring that the state complies with the local Government autonomy of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, this is however signaling a smooth relationship between the state and the Government at the centre, the lawmaker said.
He however advised those that were not favored by the outcome of the election to accept the verdict of the electorate with the spirit of sportsmanship, emphasising that grassroots development should be top priority than a personal goal, hence we must see ourselves as winner in all.
Otunba Adelegbe wishes all the newly elected Council officials a remarkable and successful tenure in their various offices.
