Air Peace cancels flight to six locations in Nigeria
Air Peace has officially announced the suspension of flights to and from Warri, Ibadan, Akure, Ilorin, Calabar, and Uyo due to unforeseen maintenance requirements.
According to Naija News, these cancellations will affect flight operations on Wednesday and Thursday, January 15 and 16, 2025, as stated in a release by the Head of Corporate Communications for Air Peace, Ejike Ndiulo, on Wednesday.
The airline has ensured that all affected passengers were notified promptly through various communication methods to reduce any inconvenience caused.
Air Peace expressed its sincere apologies for the disruptions and reiterated its dedication to upholding the highest safety standards. Passengers are encouraged to check flight schedules or reach out to customer service for additional support.
“Dear Esteemed Customer, We wish to inform you of the cancellation of flights to and from Warri and Ibadan due to unscheduled maintenance. Additionally, flights to Akure, Ilorin, Calabar, and Uyo have been canceled for the same reason.
“These cancellations will affect operations today and tomorrow,” the statement noted.

This is due to consistent flight delays and cancellations during the festive season.
The Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, NCAA, Michael Achimugu disclosed this on his X handle on Thursday.
Achimugu recounted an experience he had while trying to catch his flight.
“I walked into the scene this evening while trying to catch a flight myself. Passengers were really angry and threatened to become violent.
“I personally addressed them and engaged for about 20 minutes, explaining that I would confirm from the Nigerian Meteorological Agency, NiMET, if the weather was truly bad. I also explained that the airline does not have liability in the event of force majeure,” he said.Payment plans
