THE SHINNING STARS – Pastor Isaac Olutimehin
TEXT:
Matthew 2:2-3 KJV.
“Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him”.
3.”When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.”
*MESSAGE*
☆☆☆ When Herod heard from the wise men that they had seen a star which heralded a new king, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
☆☆☆ The trouble in Jerusalem began because Herod heard that a new king had been born.
☆☆☆ It was not a challenge when there was no mention of a new king, but the moment he heard that a star had been seen concerning the new born king, Herod was greatly troubled.
☆☆☆ Trouble began because a star had emerged.
☆☆☆ Beloved, whenever you transit from being ordinary to becoming a star, expect the Herod of this world to react badly.
☆☆☆ Some people will never be worried about you once it seems like you are nobody. The moment you arise and they see you as a threat to their own dominance, there will be trouble.
☆☆☆ If you are in business or doing something to help sustain yourself, immediately the Herod of this world discovers that you are making progress or becoming popular, there will be trouble.
☆☆☆ The Herod of this world may not even greet you anymore. You will suddenly become the enemy of many people too.
☆☆☆ Beloved, the Herod of this world will not bother when a regular child is born, but he will become worried whenever it is clear to him that a star has emerged.
☆☆☆ Nobody cares about someone without a star or glory. Nobody bothers about anyone who isn’t making any progress in life.
☆☆☆ Beloved, once you begin to make positive impacts in life, expect the Herod of this world to be after you.
☆☆☆ Herod unleashed a battle against Jesus, the moment he knew that Jesus was the new born king.
☆☆☆ Battles began simply because there was a new king on the bloc.
☆☆☆ Beloved, your greatness is an invitation for new battles.
☆☆☆ The moment you rise, some enemies you never knew you had, will come out in their true colours and try to fight you until you probably abandon your mission.
☆☆☆ The moment you rise, the systems and structures of hell will rise against you.
☆☆☆ Beloved, some people may be wired to encourage you in your low moments, but they may turn around and fight you instead of celebrating you when your star begins to shine.
☆☆☆ Don’t feel embarrassed when some of those who could easily tag along with you in your low estate, become your greatest enemies when God lifts you higher.
☆☆☆ Don’t be shocked when the Herod’s of this world begins to plot against you, simply because your light has come.
☆☆☆ Beloved, note that no Herod will bother about you when you are struggling to survive.
☆☆☆ Immediately you hit on the ladder of success however, your Herod will rise.
☆☆☆ King Herod didn’t want another star to rise, so also is the Herod of this world too. The Herod of this world wants you to always come to his table begging for bread. The moment God lifts you up to the level that you too can assist others, your Herod will surely start a fight.
☆☆☆ The brethren of Joseph discovered that Joseph had a glorious star. They knew this from the dreams of Joseph. Read Genesis 37:6-10.
☆☆☆ They took several steps to kill the star but they ended up sponsoring Joseph to Egypt, where his star was destined to shine. Read Genesis 37:19-28.
☆☆☆ Upon the arrival of Joseph in Egypt, the wife of Potiphar saw the star of Joseph ahead and took over the persecution from his brethren. She too tried everything possible to kill the star but failed. Read Genesis 39:7-20 and Genesis 41:14, 41-44.
*PRAYERS*
1. My star is a seed, if buried, I will surely rise to produce several fruits.
2. Oh my star, you cannot be caged in Jesus name.
3. Father, let my star run in accordance with your plans and purpose for my life.
4. You the unseen Everlasting Arm of God that added salt to the sea, please add sweetness to my life from today.
✓✓ Read Mark 6:24-28 then pray the next prayers.
5. My shinning star shall not become a sacrificial lamb on the altar of the wicked.
6. Oh God my father, please don’t allow my life to be used to appease the devil.
7. My star, oh my glorious star, you will not be truncated at the pick of your shinning in Jesus name.
✓✓ David was forgotten in the wilderness but Mercy searched him out.
8. My caged star and glory, what are you doing in captivity! You are free now in Jesus name.
✓✓ Mercy departed from Vasthti and rested upon Esther. Mercy left Saul and searched out David. Mercy left Reuben and located Joseph. Mercy left Haman and rested upon Mordecai.
9.My father, my father, please withdraw your mercy from the enemies of my rising star and let your mercy announce my glory from today in Jesus name.
10. Oh God my creator, let your wrath and your anger fall upon those who have misused me in life.
11. Oh God my father, let the door of favour that the enemy has used judgment to shut against me, be thrown open by your mercy.
12. According to 2 Kings 3:17, father let a sudden miracle and testimonies that will generate controversy locate me today.
*PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS*
I pray for somebody out there and I decree, every battle that will arise because of your rising, will not swallow you in Jesus name.
Every battle that is unleashed against you because of your rising star, will lead to your greater shinning in Jesus name.
According to Psalm 18: 39, I decree, the Lord shall guide and strengthen you against those fighting your star.
You will surely subdue all those who are rising against you in Jesus name.
Every Herod after your star shall be buried this year.
According to Mark 6:21, I decree, the convenient time that your enemies have been waiting for, to afflict you, shall never come.
According to Matthew 10:36, I decree and declare, those household enemies, who have constituted themselves as your Herod, shall be silenced by God, this year, in Jesus name.
You will overcome and ride over your Herod.
Please, declare this with me: No battle will swallow me up in my high places, in Jesus name.
