REJOINDE : IMPERSONATION BY MR CHUKWUMA OHADOMA AS THE WINNER OF THE KANGAROO ELECTION PURPORTEDLY CONDUCTED BY OPPOSITION TOWN UNION IN EMEABIAM Has been DECLARED ILLEGAL – Okere.
The attention of the Coordinator has been drawn to a false newspaper publication in the Announcer Express Newspaper of Wednesday edition 3rd August,2022, Page 6 By Mr Chukwuma Ohadoma claiming to be the Elected president General of Emeabiam Town Union which is totally false and misleading is hereby declared illegal, null and void. The Coordinator of Owerri South Local Government Development Center is miffed and view this publication as malicious, false, misleading and a calculated attempt to undermine the already existing, well Structured and recognized Office of the President Generals by Government of Imo State as charged to work in synergy with Local Government Development Centers. It is disheartening and appalling to observe that Mr Chukwuma Ohadoma neglected the office of the Coordinator Owerri South Local Government Development center before hurriedly rushing to the press to dish out unfathomable falsehood without first of all getting clearance. The Owerri South Local Government Development center under my watch cannot tolerate any unscrupulous person or group of persons trying to distablize the already existing Peace and order in Communities under my control.
Ordinarily, we wouldn’t have dissipated energy in this rejoinder, but it is imperative that we Set the records straight. Recall, on Friday 12th July,2022 I inaugurated Members of Owerri South Local Government Development Center as approved by his Excellency Senator Hope Odidika Uzodinma the Executive Governor of Imo State and gazetted in Government Newspaper Publications in the Statesman VOL 12 NO. 117 WEDNESDAY APRIL 27, 2022 PAGE 8-9 Interestingly, Emeabiam was captured with Mr Ndubuisi Iheakam Okata as the bonafide and Government recognized President General of Emeabiam Town Union.
The Coordinator considers this publication not only inciting/ instigative and Provocative/ misleading but inflammatory capable of causing unnecessary tensions and Youths restiveness in already existing peaceful Community. To this end, we hereby demands a retraction from the originator of this offensive news publication in the Announcer Express Newspaper within Twenty-four hours of this Rejoinder of which, if this is not done, the Government of Owerri South Development Center will have no other choice than to take appropriate legal action against the publisher.
Chukwuma Ohadoma and co traveler’s are impostors and not Recognized by the Government and should Henceforth desist from making Radio Announcements/Newspaper Publications and stop parading themselves as Executives in any public Gatherings to avoid causing breakdown of law and order in the Community. If Ohadoma keep deaf ears and persist on this illegality, he should be held accountable for any breach of peace in Emeabiam, Security Agencies take note.
Inconclusion, We want to distant and dissociate ourselves from this mischievous publications and urge the reading Public to discountenance and ignore it as it has been declared illegal null and void.
