Omeogo Interfaces with Orlu APC Delegates Over Primary Election Victory
…Vows never to leave Uzodimma, APC, constituents after victory
Over the weekend, the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate for Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal Constitutency at the 2023 general election, Hon. High Chief Canice Moore Nwachukwu, popularly called Omeogo Ogbaturuenyi na Orlu, paid a thank you visit to the APC delegates in Orlu LGA in appreciation of the support they gave him during the recently concluded party primaries that saw him victorious.
While appreciating them, at the Orlu Council Headquarters, together with other leaders of the party, Omeogo, who is also fondly called More-Pee, assured them that once he emerges victorious at the election, he will never disengage himself from the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, who he referred to as his elder brother, principal and boss, including his constituents: Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency and the APC.
“Today, I came to thank God Almighty for the victory he gave us, God used you all as instruments to accomplish His purpose here on earth on me, your act is futuristic and good thing. We have been in this struggle together, I know you all, your sacrifices, your commitment and dedication. I thank all of you for your support and prayers. I will never forget any of you”, he vowed.
He added that “yes, party primaries is over, you all voted, but the main election is coming, we need to come together and strategize on how to deliver all our candidates, starting from president down to other positions contestable. My victory will be dedicated to you all and I want to assure you all that you will not regret working with me till the final victory is achieved”. I will never leave our dear Governor, Hope Uzodimma, I will never discriminate against anyone. The goodies for our Federal Constituency will reach everyone, because I will recognize the sharing formula of Isu and Orsu in our Federal Constituency while playing around our party and you all”.
Indeed, Omeogo asked them to pray continuously for the victory of APC at the coming election, as well as support the government of the day. “Do not follow the wind of distraction blowing around now, bring meaningful ideas that will help us clinch to victory in 2023 poll”.
Earlier, the Orlu LGA party Chairman, Hon. Stanley Nwaosu, described Omeogo as a politician who exudes excellence, a grassroot mobilizer, who has come to thank the 5 man delegates from each of the 13 INEC Wards in the LGA, together with APC leaders for the support they gave to Omeogo during the recently concluded APC primaries.
Explaining the benefits of sending Omeogo to the Green Chamber, Dr. Emeka Enyinna, said they came to give a strategic information to Orlu APC members that Omeogo Project is everyone’s project, “hence we cannot afford to disappoint him”, praying to God not to allow them to lose the election.
“2023 general election is beyond eating, drinking and collecting money, it is time to think about the future of our children, the good, the employment of our numerous unemployed youths, human capital development and other golden opportunities”, Enyinna stated.
Adding his voice, Chief Barr. Jude Oduoma (Akaraugo), Deputy Director-General, Osita Izunazo Campaign Organization, affirmed that somebody must be in Abuja to represent them and the best candidate to represent the people is Omeogo, reminding the people that in the “ballot paper Omeogo or any other candidate’s name will not be there, rather the party logo, let us go and market our party and our candidates”.
Other leaders who spoke encouraged APC members to go and mobilize more people to help the party dance to victory in 2023, as “the short, More Pee, is our leader and he believes in more people for the election to be won, we need more people”.
The high point of the event was the prayer of victory offered for Omeogo who knelt down to receive the blessing from his people.
Those spotted at the event included Orlu LGA APC Chairman, Hon. Stanley Nwaosu, APC Youth Leader, Chief Henry Egwuata, Orlu party Secretary, Hon. Emmanuel Ogo, Dr. Emeka Enyinna, leader in Orlu and all the three Development Center Coordinators in Orlu LGA, DG, Imo Hope for Good Governance, Pastor Chris Mbaeri, Hon. Uche Nwaosu, Chief Obinna Ebi, Dr. Duke Nwaka and CMR Charles Nwachukwu and other APC faithfuls.
