The General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Daniel Olukoya, has won the 26th Gathering of Africa’s Best Platinum Awards.

According to a statement made available to Saturday PUNCH, the GAB Awards which took place at Hilton London Kensington, was in recognition of Olukoya’s contributions to the promotion of a positive image of Africa and Africans around the world through philanthropy.

The panel revealed that Olukoya won 2024 award for leveraging his influence and resources to uplift individuals and communities globally.

Describing the awardee, the founder of GAB, Okutubo, said Olukoya was a man with a heart of gold whose passion for transforming lives positively both Physically and spiritually was second to none.

He stressed that Olukoya had supported welfare programmes designed to provide relief to underprivileged communities, worked to reduce unemployment and created self-reliant individuals by creating and supporting programmes that empowered people through vocational training, entrepreneurship development, and financial assistance.

The founder noted, “As a generous advocate for academic excellence, Olukoya offers scholarships, his contributions in this area have created opportunities for many young individuals to achieve their dreams and contribute meaningfully to society.

“Olukoya’s contributions to science are significant. He actively supports welfare programs designed to provide relief to underprivileged communities.

He is recognised as the first Nigerian to clone genes and has authored scores of scientific papers.”

Receiving the award on behalf of his husband PastorShade Olukoya, said touching lives and making positive impacts were purpose for existence as well as MFM’s goal.

She further noted that her husband’s joy was to see that others were happy apart from winning souls for Christ.
