Chief Oluwaseyi Gabriel Ogundare, a prominent figure in All Progressive Congress (APC) fulfilled a long-standing promise today by distributing farm equipment to over 100 farmers in Ose communities.
The event, which took place today, was attended by APC leaders, community members, and representatives from various political wards. The distribution, held in a lively, carnival-like setting, demonstrated Ogundare’s commitment to supporting local agriculture and fostering sustainable livelihoods for rural farmers in the region.
In his speech, Ogundare expressed deep gratitude to the people of Ose, particularly Ijagba community for their unwavering support during his campaign for the House of Representatives seat in 2023. Reflecting on his success in securing massive votes from the area, he shared, “I remember after the announcement of the 2023 election results, where I cleared the entire polling unit in this zone. I promised to come back and show my appreciation, and today, I am here to fulfill that promise.” He said.
Ogundare further revealed that he has also included elderly residents of the area in his monthly stipend scheme, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to the welfare of his constituents.
Hon. OGO, the Imoru-born technocrat also urged the residents to remain steadfast in their support of the All Progressives Congress (APC). With a gubernatorial election approaching, Ogundare encouraged the people to vote in favor of Governor Aiyedatiwa, emphasizing the need to sustain the developmental strides and social programs championed by the ruling party. “I appeal to you all to come out in full support of our party on Saturday and ensure a resounding victory for Governor Aiyedatiwa,” Ogundare stated, highlighting the shared vision for progress within the state.
In response, the community members reaffirmed their allegiance to Ogundare and the APC. Many expressed profound gratitude for his generosity and unwavering support for the agricultural sector and social welfare initiatives. Speaking on behalf of Ijagba farmers association, Mr. Omoarebu John, noted, “Hon. OGO has shown us what true leadership looks like. We will continue to support him and ensure APC’s victory in the coming elections.”
