Just In : Owo/Ose PDP reps Candidate, Arowele Condemn Attack on worshippers, call on Government and security agencies for Quick actions.
Hon Samuel Ayo Arowele the PDP candidate for Owo/Ose Federal Constituency, for the 2023 General Election hereby condem the unprovoked attack on the sensibility of the entire peace loving people of Owo community,the horrendous killings of the catholic christian families in the early hours of today.
according to Hon Ayo Arowele in a press statement signed and released by his Media assistant Chief Akogun Olaniyi ,My sympathy goes to the entire catholic families in Owo and environs and in particular, the St. Francis Catholic church Owaluwa Street, Owo.I share in their grieve and pray for the souls of the departed ones to have eternal rest in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I commensurate with His Imperial Majesty OBA AJIBADE GBADEGESIN OGUNOYE, the Olowo of Owo Kingdom and the families of the departed souls and pray that almighty God will grant them all, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
I call on the Government and all security agencies to wake up to their responsibilities by providing adequate security for the protection of people’s lives and property which is the primary responsibilities of any Government. It is crystal cleared that our security architecture has collapsed, there is need for urgent attention from all concerns, our security agencies must synergise and harmoniously work together to stem the tide of this palpable deficience in our security architecture.
I enjoin our people to remain calm, but vigilant and allow security operatives to perform their duties in unraveling those that are behind this distarded act.
Once again, I pray for the repose of the departed souls.
