Ondo Guber: Oyebade Appeal to President Bola Ahmed TINUBU, GCFR to Dissociates himself from Lucky Aiyedatiwa and Adelami’s certificate scandals
_says Agboola Ajayi will win massively if election is not rigged in an Open Letter to President, INEC Chairman, Security Agencies_
Dr Adeniran Oyebade, a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party in Ondo State has again restated the need to have free, fair and credible governorship elections on Saturday 16th, 2024.
In an open letter to the President of Nigeria, President Tinubu, the Chairman of INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu and all heads of Security Agencies, Dr. Oyebade asserted some basic fact concerning the Governorship Election.
According to Oyebade, President Bola Ahmed TINUBU must consider the future of Nigerian States and how he would love to be remembered especially by the good people of Ondo State whose fate are in the hands of his administration and who are hoping for a positive mark that will reflect an unbias election process.
Oyebade admonished Mr. President to be guided by the fact that there will be a presidential election in 2027 and whether he likes it or not, the Nigerian people will decide who takes up the mantle of leadership in Nigeria in 2027.
He urged Mr. President to be father of democracy and practice what he preached.
“My advise to the President as a son who looks up to him is that this Saturday be a father of Democracy and practice what you preached which is Constitutional Democracy and allow a level playing field for all the candidates, completely discouraging vote buying and manipulation of the election results”.
Dr Oyebade further requested that, the IGP and INEC Chairman must ensured that the duly accredited valid votes are uploaded on time on the iRev server for the world to see and must not also truncate processes or allow any political thug to intimidate the voters; thereby scaring them away from exercising their franchise amicably as responsible citizens of Nigeria who owed the Nigerian State the Civic responsibility to come out and vote in all qualified elections.
He said security agencies must not truncate but must neutralize any security threats from political thugs and their hideouts with ballot papers.
The former DG of Olusola Oke Campaign Organization for the Ondo Central Senatorial District, further affirmed t to the fact that Aiyedatiwa never conducted a primary election and not popular or likable enough to win even his own local government let alone any of the 18 local government areas of the Ondo State.
“Mr. President please check the facts, Aiyedatiwa only became a substantive Governor by coincidence and some other people said it’s by accident, either ways, both are correct sir. Aiyedatiwa has never contested for Ondo State Governorship before, but Agboola Alfred Ajayi did under Zenith Labor Party. Aiyedatiwa is not known across all the 203 wards and polling units of Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi is well known”, he added.
He also called on Mr President to put party sentiments asides and remain neutral to Ondo State politics.
He assured that Agboola will win massively if the election is free and fair, but that his fear is that there is hardly a free and fair election in Nigeria, a worrisome trend that those with foreign governments exposure cannot stand and would kick against.
He said if the election is not free and fair and Agbo concedes defeat, he will sued Agboola Ajayi for couple of billions of naira to compensate for the emotional distress he might have caused him and the expenses running into hundreds of millions he incurred supporting him which he has been sending receipts of before he was told to stop sending the receipts.
He urged the President to dissociate self from Gov. Aiyedatiwa’ and his deputy, Dr. Olayide Adelami’s certified scandals.
“There are many factors that will put Agboola Ajayi in the driver seat of the Ondo State vehicle considering his impeccable records of service and his clear emergence as the PDP candidate for governor with no certificate scandal or wife beating allegation that the duo of Peter and Paul of Aiyedatiwa and Adelami are battling with. In recent allegation, Adelami was to appear before the court to defend a WAEC certificate forgery allegation same as Aiyedatiwa with his Ikosigate saga”.
“Only by rigging the election can Aiyedatiwa emerge on Saturday and this may lead to civil unrests and disturbances. Only if there is no law will Agbo not retrieve the mandate even when rigged. So, it’s clear Agbo is the next God ordained Governor of the Ondo State people.
He noted that he has been in talks with the Directors of the National Democratic Institutes in Washington D.C, where the following are center of discussion.
1) Ondo 2024 and the Candidates both the one in APC who emerged by fraud, Lucky Aiyedatiwa and Alfred Agboola Ajayi of PDP who emerged democratically in a free and fair election through due process of the established party constitution, Sola Ebiseni of LP, OBA of SDP and Gbenga Edema of NNPP.
2) We discussed Edo Gubernatorial Elections and the RIGGING/RESULT MANIPULATIONS that took place.
3) We discussed BVAS VERIFICATION/VALIDATION and IREV GLITCHES caused by watchers and manipulators.
4) We discussed the reports of 2023 Nigerian Election leading to the current administration, 2027 elections and the key players from TINUBU, PETER OBI, KWANKWASHO, and ATIKU”.
