Vessels with 101m litres of petrol arrive Nigeria

The Nigerian Ports Authority has said that two vessels carrying a total of 101.9 million litres of Premium Motor Spirit popularly known as petrol will be discharging at the Apapa Ports in Lagos on Wednesday (Today).

The NPA in its ‘Shipping Position Daily’ sighted by The PUNCH on Tuesday explained that a total of 10 vessels carrying different commodities are expected at the port between Sunday, November 3 to Wednesday, November 20.

It added that out of the 10 vessels, three will be coming with containers, one coming with general cargoes, one with bulk wheat, one with bulk gypsum, and the other with base oil.

It added that the various consignments are expected at, “APMT, ENL Consortium, Eko Support Services Limited, ASPM Jetty among others.”

Meanwhile, the agency added that at Tincan Island Ports, out of 10 vessels that berthed from Monday, November 4 to Friday, November 8, three vessels with 58.8 million litres of Automotive Gas Oil (diesel) will be discharged between Tuesday, November 5 and Thursday, November 7.

It stated that three vessels carrying a total of 1,200 units of used cars were expected to berth between Monday 4th November to Friday, November 8th.

NPA explained that a vessel with 350 units berthed on Monday at ports and Terminal Multiservice Limited while the other vessel carrying 500 units is currently berthing at the same terminal.

“A vessel with 20.115 million litres of PMS berthed on Tuesday at the Kirikiri Lighter Terminal Phase 3a. Two vessels with containers berthed at the port on Monday,” it explained.
