After careful deliberation, the NWC confirmed last night that Diaspora chapters with executives will no longer exist, ensuring strict adherence to the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The party will also introduce constitutional amendments to formally reflect these changes. The party will now have support groups in the Diaspora. As many as possible can register to be a support group.

The APC leadership thanks J.K. Adebola for his patriotism and sharp foresight in advising this compliance-driven approach.

This suspension is coming months after a Nigerian, UK based activists,Bar. Faseesin Olasumbo have called for suspension of the unconstitutionalized APC UK executives under the Leadership of Dr Adebola

Bar. Faseesin, expressed satisfaction in the recent suspension of all diaspora chapter, stating that it is unconstitutional have two executives under one umbrella.

In a fierce argument with Mr. Adebola, Faseesin had noted the unconstitutionality of APC UK 🇬🇧, and pointedly called the attention of imposter to APC constitution where these bodies in diaspora claiming to be another organ of APC are unknown to APC’s Constitution

According to him, the National leadership of APC in Nigeria should be in charge of all diaspora chapter, one party, one umbrella and unification.

He however commended the National Working committee for Swifting into action promptly in amending the misrepresentation of the party in diaspora.
