POSITIVE EXPECTATIONS – Pastor Isaac Olutimehin
TEXT:
Ephesians 3:20 KJV
“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us”.
*MESSAGE:*
☆☆☆ God is saying here that he won’t just do only what you ask for in prayers but he will surely and equally do much more abundantly than your thoughts.
☆☆☆ The danger here however, is that, if your thoughts are wrong or negative, that’s what God will do, even much more abundantly.
✓✓ This is why God himself said👇
“Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you” – Numbers 14:28.
Think positively beloved, irrespective of the challenges of life.
You can have whatever you desire by faith, if only you can see it, you will surely have it.
Testimony:
✓✓ A lady was praying in faith. She locked herself up in the room and was praying so loud. She had some needs that she wanted God to meet urgently. So she started mentioning them one by one. There was this an atheist, her neighbor, someone who doesn’t believe in the existence of God; who was listening in her room. In her mind she said she would prove to this ‘foolish’ Christian today that there is no God. So she went to the market and bought all those things the woman had listed in prayers. She kept them by this woman’s door. When the woman finished praying and came out, she saw all the items she had listed in prayers in front of her door. She started singing praises to God, dancing and praising God. The atheist came out from her hiding and challenged the woman why she was praising God, that God didn’t put those items there but that she did. The Christian woman said, when God orders even the devil obeys and she kept on dancing and praising God.
☆☆☆ The woman had positive mindset while praying, God honoured her faith and her expectations became fulfilled.
☆☆☆ God used the ridiculous to produce her miracle. You can imagine the devil incarnate unconsciously running errands for her.
☆☆☆ Beloved, no man can receive any miracle that is above his faith.
☆☆☆ Many people, while praying, don’t even believe that what they are asking for in prayers can become a testimony.
☆☆☆ What you don’t receive by faith in the spirit cannot become a physical miracle in your life.
☆☆☆ The point I’m trying to make is that, your thoughts matter most before God.
☆☆☆ Those who fill their hearts with negative thoughts will always be having negative results.
☆☆☆ Let me drive home my point with this illustration:
☆☆☆ If you as a lady, having been disappointed by a man in the past, now have the mind that every man out there is bad and wicked, then don’t be surprised if all the men that come asking for your hand in marriage are bad and wicked.
☆☆☆ No wonder the bible says👇
“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he,…” – Proverbs 23:7.
☆☆☆ Beloved, at every point in time, irrespective of your challenges; think positively.
☆☆☆ Think success, think breakthrough, think promotion, think divine healing, etc.
☆☆☆ God will surely exceed your expectations and surprise you pleasantly.
*PRAYERS*
1. In the name of Jesus, I erase every negative thoughts out of my mind.
2. Oh you negative thoughts, my heart is not your bus stop, keep moving.
3. Father, increase my faith and let there be a performance of all my heart desires.
4. My father my father, please strengthen me on the altar of prayers.
5. Oh God my creator, please terminate hardship and unnecessary struggles out of my life.
6. Please Lord, by your mercy, connect me with my assigned destiny helpers in Jesus name.
7. Oh God my father, please replace my labour with your favour in Jesus name.
8. My father and my God, give me the grace to enjoy the easy side of life.
9. Uphold and strengthen me Lord in my weak points in Jesus name.
10. Father, let grace and mercy release to me what I’m not even qualified for on the altar of prayers.
11. Please Lord, turn my fears to a bundle of testimonies in Jesus name.
12. Father, make my life an example of your faithfulness in Jesus name.
*PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS*
On this note I decree, you shall be a candidate of God’s mercy in Jesus name.
The God of heaven shall strengthen you in any area where you are weak in Jesus name.
I decree and declare, Jehovah Rapha, our healer, shall heal your wounds in Jesus name.
The mercy of God shall connect you, this day, with your assigned divine helpers in Jesus name.
That same mercy of God shall release to you that which your connection cannot gift you in Jesus name.
The mercy of God shall terminate struggles out of your life and you will not lack in the midst of plenty in Jesus name.
God shall replace your labour with favour in Jesus name.
The Lord shall comfort you on every side wherever you are troubled in Jesus name.
He will deliver you from the hands of those who are oppressing you in Jesus name.
Henceforth, your testimony shall be that the Lord is faithful.
Even what you didn’t remember to ask for on the altar of prayers, shall the mercy of God release to you, much more abundantly, in Jesus name.
That which is troubling your mind right now, shall become a testimony from today in Jesus name.
These and many more promises of God, shall find fulfillment in your life from today in Jesus name.
