Iyabo Ojo’s emotional journey as Priscilla finds love in Tanzania
Actress, Iyabo Ojo, is radiating with joy following her only daughter, Priscilla’s engagement to Tanzanian singer, Juma Mkambala, aka Jux.
In an Instagram post during the week, Ojo expressed her deep gratitude to Priscilla, celebrating her as a wonderful daughter, and proclaiming that she was already reaping the rewards of motherhood. In the video, Ojo said, “Thank you for everything. I am already eating the fruits of having a child. Everyone should join me and be grateful. Thank you for bringing a good husband home and making me happy.”
The proud mother did not stop at that. She also appreciated her (daughter) for finishing her education in good time and being strong through the hurdles of life. She further declared that those wishing ill upon them would ultimately face their own misfortunes.
This is not the first instance of Ojo sharing her excitement over Priscilla’s engagement. On September 8, 2024, she delighted fans with videos showcasing Priscilla enjoying quality time with Jux’s mother and family. She took time to pen a special appreciation to the family for welcoming and loving her daughter, adding that she was set to also give the family a grand welcome whenever they visited Nigeria. She wrote, “The Ojo family extends their sincerest gratitude to Mama Jux and the entire Mkambala family for embracing our incredible daughter with such warmth and acceptance.”
In other posts, she hinted at her eagerness to embrace her role as an incoming mother-in-law.
Also, when the couple visited Ojo’s home, he was received in a dramatic way. Ojo hosted a heartfelt welcome for Jux at their home but the highlight of the moment was when Ojo put a piece of cloth on the floor for Jux to walk on in a bid to signify respect and acceptance.
