SAFETY MOMENT – Bar. Banji Alabi
At every opportunity, I speak about SAFETY because I care, and because 99.9% of all incidents that lead to fatality are avoidable if we imbibe good safety cultures. It is better to pay attention to SAFETY than to pay the price for SAFETY.
Proverbs 15:1 says, “A soft word turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.” As children of God, we are not permitted to exchange hot words with anyone. Our words are expected to bring peace, reconciliation, hope to the hopeless, and to the world at large. We are to provide and demonstrate VISIBLE LEADERSHIP in areas of respect for fundamental human rights and freedom.
One way to demonstrate our love and respect for our loved ones is to follow peace with all men and to return home each day SAFE & SOUND, in one piece.
DON’T DIE IN THEIR WAR. Today, my heart goes out to my good people of Ondo State, as the gubernatorial election approaches. I implore you: please don’t die in their war. Your life is precious, and your future matters. Stay safe, stay informed, and exercise your right to vote wisely.” Yes my thoughts are with you , the resilient people of Ondo State . Amidst the political fervor, remember: your life is not a pawn in their game. Protect yourself, cherish your voice, and vote with conviction. Don’t let anyone’s ambition cost you your precious life.”
Yes campaign and support your candidate, BUT please don’t put yourself in harm’s way.
MOMENT OF TRUTH
There are only two tribes in Nigeria, Africa, and indeed the world:
(1) the Elites
and
(2) the Masses!
The Elites are united and marry each other, irrespective of tribe and religion, to prevent the dilution of their class from the ignorant masses.
The Elites have no religion or tribe – the very reason they continue to prosper, dominate power, and control the national treasury to the injury of the Masses.
The Masses in Nigeria, in their primitive ignorance and self-delusion, divided themselves into 350 ethnic groups, imposed two major religions on themselves, further fragmented their division into countless denominations, and then ceaselessly hurt, hate, curse, and slaughter each other on the basis of “non-existent” tribes that are products of their inherited imaginations, and on behalf of a God who is more than capable of defending Himself and who has not sent them to hurt, hate, curse, or kill each other. The result: a heritage of poverty for the Masses and a vicious, unbreakable circle of violence against each other. How very pathetic!
ECONOMIC RECESSION
The current economic recession is a global phenomenon, affecting nations worldwide. It’s a pervasive depression that demands collective caution, not destructive actions.
Don’t let politicians manipulate you into violent protests, exploiting your frustration for their gain. Remember, their own children are often safely abroad, enjoying the best life has to offer, while they risk yours.
Protect yourself, prioritize peace, and demand constructive solutions. Your future is worth more than any politicians ambition
The global economic downturn requires unity and wise decision-making, not violence and division. Beware of politicians who fuel unrest, while their own families reside safely overseas.
Don’t become a pawn in their game of power. Insist on peaceful dialogue and tangible solutions. Your well-being and future are too valuable to be sacrificed.”
