Trump promised to immediately end what he called the “migrant invasion of America”.
The Republican candidate outlined a series of measures he would take to address migration, including stopping all migrant flights, ending illegal entries, and terminating the CBP One App, which he claims is used for smuggling illegals.
He also pledged to revoke deportation immunity, suspend refugee resettlement, and deport all migrants back to their home countries, a process he referred to as “remigration”.
He wrote: “As President I will immediately end the migrant invasion of America. We will stop all migrant flights, end all illegal entries, terminate the Kamala phone app for smuggling illegals (CBP One App), revoke deportation immunity, suspend refugee resettlement, and return Kamala’s illegal migrants to their home countries (also known as remigration).
“I will save our cities and towns in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and all across America. #MAGA2024!”
Trump earlier claimed that thousands of immigrants had started eating people’s pets to survive in the country.
He made the claim during a debate with his closest rival and current Vice President, Kamala Harris ahead of the presidential election in November.
Trump said the porous nature of the US border has allowed many people across the world to migrate to the country unregulated and without proper scrutiny, resulting in the eating of domestic animals like dogs and cats to survive.
He said, “They are eating the dogs, the people that came in (immigrants), they are eating the cats. They are eating the pets of the people that live there and this is what is happening in our country. I would say we would both leave this debate right now.”
The former president added that the only way to stop the situation is for the US government under the leadership of Joe Biden to order the immediate closure of the country’s borders.
He said, “I would like to see her go down to Washington, D.C. and let us sign a bill to close the border because they (the government) have the right to do it. They don’t need bills.”
