Tears As Former Lagos Chairman Of Nigerian Bar Association, Ogunlana Is Buried In Lagos

A solemn and tear-filled farewell ceremony is currently underway in Lagos as family, friends, and professional associates gather to honour the memory of Adesina Ogunlana, Esq., the respected former chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Ikeja Branch, Lagos State.

The funeral proceedings continued with a requiem service at St. Luke The Physician Anglican Church, LASUTH, Lagos, before his loved ones proceeded to Mowe for the final burial rites.
SaharaReporters had reported that Ogunlana who served as the NBA Chairman of the Ikeja Branch between 2016 and 2018 died on August 6, 2024 and without any sign of ailment.
His death was announced on August 7, 2024 in a press statement issued by the NBA Ikeja Branch Secretary, Issa Adedokun, stating that the burial arrangement would be communicated later by the bereaved family.
One of his close associates said he died in the course of fighting for injustice.
He said, “It is a very sad day. Words alone can’t express how sad I felt hearing of the demise of this doggedly relentless man, Adesina Ogunlana. He died at his desk doing what he loved most, fighting for justice for all. May his soul rest in eternal power.”
