The Special Assistant to the Governor on Emergency Response, Prince Oriade Wellington Adebawo has issued a stern warning to the State Fire Service, Ondo State Emergency Medical Services Agency (ODEMSA), and other emergency response government agencies to step up their game and deliver on their mandate to the public at all times. The era of excuses, such as “no fuel” or “no water,” is over, and the Office of the SA to the Governor on Emergency Response will not hesitate to take appropriate action against any official or agency sabotaging the efforts of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

In line with his core objectives by virtue of his office, the SA emphasized that Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa is committed to fulfilling his promise to the people of Ondo State, and it is the responsibility of these agencies to support this vision. The warning comes as a call to action, urging these agencies to shun mediocrity and embrace excellence in their service delivery.

Prince Adebawo further stressed that the Office of the SA to the Governor on Emergency Response will closely monitor the activities of these agencies and take swift action against any form of sabotage or dereliction of duty. The era of complacency is over, and things must be done right in Ondo State going forward.

This warning is a clear indication of the Governor’s commitment to ensuring that his administration delivers on its promises to the people of Ondo State. It is a call to action for all emergency response agencies to rise to the challenge and work towards a safer, more responsive, and more efficient emergency management system in the state.
