24-year-old Joy Raimi crowned Miss World Nigeria 2025
Joy Mojisola Raimi, a 24-year-old graduate of the University of Port Harcourt, has emerged as Miss World Nigeria 2025.
Representing Osun State, Raimi clinched the coveted crown during the grand finale held at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The announcement was made by Silverbird Group founder, Ben Murray-Bruce, who congratulated the new beauty queen in a post shared via his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Saturday.
“Congratulations to Joy Mojisola Raimi, the 24-year-old representing Osun State, on being crowned Miss World Nigeria 2025!” Bruce wrote.
A total of 37 contestants from across the country competed in the national pageant, all vying for the prestigious title. Raimi stood out for her poise, intelligence, and strong dedication to humanitarian efforts.
She is the founder of The Love for Humanity project, an initiative aimed at spreading compassion and restoring hope within communities.

Ben Murray-Bruce also revealed that Raimi’s path to the crown was marked by resilience and personal growth, shaped by a difficult childhood. During the final round, she competed against Miss Imo, Miss Ebonyi, Miss Abuja, and Miss Abia.
When asked how she overcame bullying, Raimi shared a moving story about growing up without a mother and facing emotional abuse from her caregiver. Despite being constantly discouraged and told she would never amount to anything, she stated that the victory was proof of how far she had come.
“She emphasized that despite being told she would never amount to anything, she has proven otherwise by achieving this milestone,” Bruce said.
As Miss World Nigeria 2025, Raimi will now prepare to represent the country at the 72nd Miss World pageant, scheduled to take place in Hyderabad, India, from May 7 to 31.
She will join contestants from over 140 countries in the global competition.
