PUT OFF THY SHOES, THE SPIRITUAL IMPLICATIONS – Pastor Isaac Olutimehin
TEXT:
Exodus 3:5 KJV.
“And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground”.
MESSAGE
☆☆☆ This is a popular story that we all know.
☆☆☆ God was to send Moses to Egypt to deliver the children of Israel from captivity.
☆☆☆ Moses encountered God in the wilderness and God said to him; “Put off thy shoes”.
☆☆☆ Now, we want to look at the significance and the implication of the statement “put off thy shoes from off thy feet”.
☆☆☆ God had told Moses that “whereon thou standest is holy ground”. That is understood.
☆☆☆ The presence of God is holy, this is the reason why God asked Moses to put off his shoes; that we also know.
☆☆☆ Beloved, it was equally implied that the journey or movement of Moses at that time was put on hold by the reason of his putting off his shoes.
☆☆☆ Joshua had this same encounter with God as recorded in Joshua 5:15.
☆☆☆ Joshua was leading the children of Israel to the promised land through Jericho and his movement was equally put on a temporary hold.
☆☆☆ This was because the angel of the Lord was to deliver a message from the Lord to him.
☆☆☆ You will agree with me that the first thing somebody does, which is very common, when he returns home from work or from a journey; is to put off his shoes.
☆☆☆ The implication is that the journey ends now or is being put on hold till further notice.
☆☆☆ You will also agree with me that your movement cannot be smooth without putting on shoes.
☆☆☆ If you now have a dream where your shoes were removed or seized by the enemy, the implication is that your journey through life has been put on hold or is being halted.
☆☆☆ Such people may continue to struggle through life without any success.
☆☆☆ The enemy can also, by the reason of removing somebody’s shoes, put a permanent stop to the journey in the life of such people.
☆☆☆ That may result in permanent incapacitation or even death.
☆☆☆ If you are looking for your shoes in a dream, you need to fast and pray very hard to destroy the plan and purpose of the enemy concerning the journey of your life.
PRAYERS
1. Oh God my father, please accelerate the progress of my life in Jesus name.
2. In the name of Jesus, I uproot every form of demonic delay on the pathway of my success.
3. Father, restore back to me every goodness the wicked has manipulated out of my reach.
4. Oh you devil and your agents, you cannot exercise any more power over my dream and the affairs of my life in Jesus name.
5. My waiting is over, I refuse to be stagnated anymore.
6. In the name of Jesus, I am stepping into life afresh and anew, taking giant strides.
7. Devil, you cannot cage me, Jesus has set me free and I am free indeed.
8. I free myself from the bondage of all household enemies in Jesus name.
9. I am lifted higher by the Everlasting Arm of Jehovah God.
10. I confess and I declare that I shall live to fulfill the plans and purpose of God for my life.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS
I pray for you today, any enemy planning to cut short your journey through life is cursed in Jesus name.
I decree and declare, no powers shall be strong enough to terminate your journey through life in Jesus mighty name.
I decree, your progress and success in life shall not be put on hold by the wickedness of men in Jesus name.
Every cog of delay in the wheel of the vehicle of your life, halting your progress; shall be removed from today in Jesus name.
Whether in the physical or in the spiritual, I decree, the enemy shall not get hold of your shoes in Jesus name.
You will reach your goal without any further delay,
You will fulfill your time and purpose in life in Jesus mighty name.
Keep moving forward.
No waiting.
No stopping.
No more delay.
