2024 : Build on your God given potentials and the world will celebrate you – Abiola Oshodi to Nigerians
With full joy in my heart, I send greetings to all of our members on the occasion of the new year celebration.
Your support and affection towards our aspirations have been so wonderful. I appreciate your resilience and your trust in me. I can’t thank you enough.
Sad enough, while we were about closing the year, we lost our dear governor. Our hearts and prayers are with his immediate family in particular and the state as a whole.
Without mincing words, Aketi was phenomenal in both the legal and political landscapes of the nation. And may God continue to be with his family.
Without being told, 2023 has been a very difficult year for the majority of our people as the PBAT’s administration had no choice but to reposition our economy by the twin removal of fuel susidy and reform the foreign exchange market which has unfortunately resulted in temporary pains of skyrocketed prices of goods and services. I am sure that very soon the various governments reforms will start to yield the desired fruits to make life easier and meaningful for our people , in 2024.
This year, Ondo state is going into gubernatorial election. I plead with our teeming supporters to consider the interest of the state above personal or tribal reasons. The good works of our dear Arakunrin must be sustained.
Also I congratulate the new governor, Hon Lucky Ayedatiwa on his emergence. This is the time to sustain the good legacies of his principal.
And may God give him the vision and the boldness to take the state to greater heights.
Brethren, 2024 is here already; Time to roll up our sleeves is now. The success of the new year starts to build up from today.
Therefore, I charge you all to show commitment to the works of your hands. Build on your God given potentials and the world will celebrate you.
